I'm hoping that quote makes sense in context, because it doesn't when it's stuck in the middle of a radio commercial...heard by someone who hasn't seen the movie.

I might see it just to find out what the hell leads up to those words. But probably not.

This was the highlight of the All-Star Game for me. I missed the intro and half of the first period, but since Nabby played the second period, I was content.

Random Note: I just heard on the radio that the last time there was a penalty in the NHL All-Star Game, it was committed by Sandis Ozolinsh in 2000. That is funny.

up way too late watching tennis

The Australian Open is on right now. I know I shouldn't be up. Of course, I do this during the World Cup too, so...I guess I'm masochistic when it comes to sports. Also, it feels like Nadal has been on the scene for a looong time, so I often forget that the man is only 21. ...Dude.

One Minute Wasted

I came across a list through digg.com that was of "the 10 most racist Disney characters". I thought there was a chance that it would be interesting. Instead, it was one minute of my life that I would never get back. Aside from Aladdin, everything listed was from the 1960s at the latest. [edit: I remembered later that Sebastian from The Little Mermaid also made the list. Still, 8 out of 10...] Well, shit. I could have told you that. The country was a different place then, and we've made great strides since, so...I was almost offended that someone compiled this list in the first place. Almost. More than that, I was annoyed at myself for having gone to the site. Bah.

I'm Nuts, Chapter 25

It had been raining on and off today, and this afternoon I started seeing flashes every now and again out of the corner of my eye. At first I thought it was lightning, but the light of the flash didn't seem quite right, and I hadn't heard any thunder. I started freaking out, thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me. A few minutes later, I realized that one of my coworkers was taking pictures of the water damage that remained from last Friday's storm. The flashes that I had been seeing were coming from his camera. :P

And so they have found a home.

Yesterday I received my latest order from Zappos, which included a pair of sand-colored Ugg boots. Taped to the bottom of the Ugg box were a couple of small scraps of wrapping paper.

Know what that means? I now own someone's rejected Christmas present. I find this hilarious for some unknown reason.

Hm, now that I think about it, this should have been a post for fetchez la vache...oh well, this works too.
